See Our 26-Year Story of Islam Beliefs and Teachings

In 1998, a small group of families in Herndon and Reston, Virginia established the North American Islamic Foundation (NAIF) Center to serve the local Muslim population and promote islam beliefs and teachings. Over the past three decades, the NAIF Center has grown. Today, we serve the areas of Sterling, Ashburn, Centreville, Chantilly, Gainesville, Great Falls, Herndon, Manassas, Bristow, Leesburg, and Reston in Northern Virginia. Our community continues to grow each year as more families join us.

Sadqa

Sadqa is a voluntary act of charity given out of compassion, love, friendship, religious duty, or generosity, rooted in islam beliefs and teachings. It is a way to support those in need and gain spiritual rewards. Your Sadqa contributions help us fund community programs, support needy families, and maintain our facilities as part of our mission as a center for islamic teachings and community development. Every contribution, big or small, makes a meaningful difference.

NAIF Center Support

Donations made directly to the NAIF Center help cover the operational costs of running our facilities and programs. This includes maintaining prayer spaces, classrooms, event halls, and administrative offices. As a trusted islamic center of america, your support ensures we continue providing a safe, welcoming, and functional space for the community to gather, learn, and worship in line with islam beliefs and teachings.

Zakat

Zakat is one of the Five Pillars of Islam and a mandatory act of charity based on islam beliefs and teachings. It is calculated as a fixed percentage (usually 2.5%) of accumulated wealth and distributed to those eligible, such as the poor, the needy, and those in debt. Your Zakat contributions are handled with care and distributed according to Islamic guidelines, reflecting the values upheld by islamic services of america.

Zakat-ul-Fitr

Zakat-ul-Fitr, also known as Fitrana, is a form of charity given to those experiencing poverty at the end of Ramadan. It is obligatory for every Muslim who possesses more food than their immediate needs. The purpose of Zakat-ul-Fitr is to purify the fast and support the needy, in accordance with islam beliefs and teachings. Donating your Zakat-ul-Fitr through NAIF ensures responsible distribution through a trusted center for islamic teachings and community development.
