In 1998, a small group of families in Herndon and Reston, Virginia established the North American Islamic Foundation (NAIF) Center to serve the local Muslim population. Over the past three decades, the NAIF Center has grown. Today, we serve the areas of Sterling, Ashburn, Centerville, Chantilly, Gainesville, Great Falls, Herndon, Manassas, Bristow, Leesburg, and Reston, in northern Virginia. Our community continues to grow each year as more families join us.

Sadqa
Sadqa is a voluntary act of charity given out of compassion, love, friendship, religious duty, or generosity. It is a way to support those in need and gain spiritual rewards. Your Sadqa contributions help us fund various community programs, support needy families, and maintain our facilities. Every little bit counts and makes a difference in the lives of those.
NAIF Center Support
Donations made directly to the NAIF Center help cover the operational costs of running our facilities and programs. This includes maintaining our prayer spaces, classrooms, event halls, administrative offices. By supporting the NAIF, you ensure that we can continue to provide a safe, welcoming, and functional space for the community to gather, learn, and worship.
Zakat
Zakat is one of the Five Pillars of Islam and a mandatory act of charity. It is calculated as a fixed percentage (usually 2.5%) of accumulated wealth and distributed to those eligible to receive it, such as the poor, the needy, and those in debt. Your Zakat contributions are handled with the utmost care and distributed according to Islamic guidelines.
Zakat-ul-Fitr
Zakat-ul-Fitr, also known as Fitrana, is a form of charity given to people experiencing poverty at the end of Ramadan. It is obligatory for every Muslim who possesses food more than their needs. The purpose of Zakat ul-Fitr is to purify those who fast from any indecent act or speech and to help the needy. Donating your Zakat-ul-Fitr through NAIF ensures.
