Strengthen Faith Foster Unity, and Serve the Community!

At the NAIF Center, we are dedicated to serving the spiritual, educational, and social needs of the Islamic community in the Northern Virginia region.

Our History

In 1998, a small group of families in Herndon and Reston, Virginia, established the North American Islamic Foundation (NAIF) Center to serve the local Muslim population. Over the past three decades, the NAIF Center has grown. Today, we serve the areas of Sterling, Ashburn, Centreville, Chantilly, Gainesville, Great Falls, Herndon, Manassas, Bristow, Leesburg, and Reston in Northern Virginia. Our community continues to grow each Year as more families join us.

NAIF Center has grown from a small group of dedicated individuals into a vibrant and active community hub. Over the years, we have expanded our facilities and services to meet our community’s evolving needs better. The principles of faith and compassion have guided our journey and a commitment to excellence.

Our Pride

At the NAIF Center, our most incredible pride is in education, community and youth development, and service. The NAIF Center also believes in interfaith collaboration, so we encourage representatives from all faiths to join hands to improve the community.

The Executive Committee routinely reports to the Board of Trustees, which consists of 17 elected members from various backgrounds. The NAIF Center’s main campus is in Herndon, Virginia, on Dulles Technology Drive. The campus is 12,000 square feet (about twice the area of a basketball court), a place of worship accommodating over 400 attendees, a weekend school for children and youth, and a multi-purpose community hall. An expansion plan is underway on the main campus to meet the needs of the rapidly growing community.
